I Wonder...
Has Pat Robertson ever said anything valuable or beneficial?
The problem is Haiti had corrupt politicians while the Dominican Republic did not. That is why Haiti is so poor. Perhaps the influence of Voodoo has only stayed on the left side of the island, but I'm sure there are those who practice Voodoo and Whodoo in the Dominican Republic.
New Orleans received its Voodoo influence from Haiti as well.

Whodoo sounds like the religion of the Who people or the band.
