Dial In Sounds
Okay, in case anyone was interested in supporting Hurricane Katrina relief, you can help me by buying an auction I have on eBay. The auction is for a lot of beads I got at Mardi Gras last year. You can find it HERE.
So, because I mentioned Katrina, I'm insensative? I don't get your point. I was close to being one of those people who had to stay. My car had just started working again. Remember, it had been giving me problems all summer. It could have overheated. I had $500, which is more than a lot of people I know. But that money was for rent and tutiton. Leaving meant, using it when I needed for later (it turned out because of the flood I wouldn't need the rent money). I think if anyone could say those things, it was me. Sure, I could have been a little less "free the world" about it. But I did nothing wrong.
I know I hit a nerve, but you hit one of mine too. You're not being insensative, but I can't help but feel that you're sort of cheapening everything that happened.
I have to go to the doctor now because, as it turns out, I was exposed to meningitis too...and the fact that I've been sick and achy for two weeks is starting to look suspicious. I'm more than a little freaked out.
Jeff, I would have brought you to Mobile. So you were never in real jeopardy of staying unless you wanted to. In which case I would have branded you an idiot and let you drown.
But then who would I have to teach me of the Beatles?
i'm pretty sure helping you isn't "katrina relief" anymore, jeff. but kudos for relief fraud?
